KlayKids is where creativity, confidence, and lasting friendships come to life through
hands-on clay adventures, process-based learning, and plenty of playful discovery.
Clay Tots (Ages 2–3)
A gentle, play-based introduction to clay with simple tools, sensory fun, and creative freedom.
Children build confidence through hands-on exploration, parallel play, and early social experiences that support emotional development and connection.
Clay Creators (Ages 3 and up)
For our emerging artists, Clay Creators blends playful exploration with skill-building.
Children learn core clay techniques, practice adding details, and express ideas through hands-on projects — strengthening fine motor skills, growing confidence, and building friendships through cooperative activities and creative teamwork.
For our kinder artists ready for more challenge, Clay Builders focuses on refining techniques, adding intricate detail and texture, and encouraging creative problem-solving.
Students work on more complex projects while practicing independence, collaboration, and artistic expression.
Clay Builders (Kinder)
Gives children the perfect balance of creative exploration, skill-building, and the joy of bringing a project to life from start to finish — every month!
Skills Day — Playful clay art games and activities that spark curiosity, grow confidence, and strengthen friendships. Children explore tools, practice techniques, and enjoy creative challenges together.
Project Day — All their new skills come together here, this is when we see imaginations soar as each child brings their special project to life, shaping it into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Paint Day — The most colorful day of the month! Kids dive into paint, add their own playful touches, and watch their clay creations transform into treasures they can’t wait to show off.

Quick Facts for Parents
👋 Classroom Transitions: We pick up your child from their classroom or the playground and return them to their teacher - no parent stay required.
🧠 Readiness & Placement: Grouped by developmental readiness and pick-up time - Different stages are expected and celebrated 🎉
🎒 Experience Needed: None. We teach from clay play to building step by step.
🌼 Sensory-Supportive: Flexible tools/textures, quiet choices, and breaks as needed.
🗣️ Artist Share (optional but encouraged :)): Gentle, opt-in share moments during story time, theme & How did you make it sharing to practice brave speaking and build vocabulary in our small group safe space.
🌿 Materials Safety: Non-toxic clay and kid-safe paints.
🧼 If Paint/Clay gets on clothes: Clay and washable paints come out easily with a normal wash.
🔄 Make-ups: We do our best to make-up missed work the next KlayKids class day if time allows - if not, it may get pushed to the following month, depending on where we are in our schedule.
🔥 Kiln Timing: Glazing/Firing/Finishing your childs project typically takes 1–2 weeks after Paint Day.
🗓️ Monthly Keepsake: One kiln-fired, hand-painted project goes home each month.

Clay Tools That Build Skills
We use soft, squishy clay, playful rollers, stampers, and texture tools to spark creativity and strengthen fine motor skills — plus bright paints and brushes for bringing each masterpiece to life.
Magical Finishing Touches
After Paint Day, we glaze, kiln-fire, label, and carefully package each project so it’s ready to be treasured for years to come.
On-Site Delivery
Finished projects are safely delivered back to your child’s school within 1–2 weeks after completion.
